The Lakiche CUP
I created the Lakiche Cup in 2021 with a simple goal: to organize a Rocket League tournament that reflects what I love about esports—passion, a good atmosphere, seriousness, and above all, a true competitive environment where everyone has a chance. At first, it was a makeshift project with limited resources: a few motivated friends, a Discord server, a homemade overlay, and a huge desire to do well. However, from the very first edition, I felt that something special was happening. Passionate players faced off in intense matches, and most importantly, a small community was born. It wasn't just a tournament; it was a place where we vibed together, where each match brought its share of emotions, laughter, and great plays.
Over the seasons, the Lakiche Cup has grown. We improved the organization, diversified the formats, group stages, playoffs, 3v3, while offering live casts that gave a real soul to the matches. Little by little, we established a more serious production, with clips, interviews, teasers… The goal has never been to take ourselves too seriously, but rather to prove that with passion, we can organize an event that has style. What struck me the most is that the Cup has served as a playground for incredible talents, even before they became what they are today.
Yes, players like Atow — now an international star and player for Karmine Corp, and Yujin, one of the young prodigies of Gentle Mates Alpine, participated in the Lakiche Cup. At the time, no one imagined they would shine on the RLCS stage. And yet, they were there, in our brackets, playing for fun and gaining the experience that took them to the top. It is a great pride to be able to say that the Lakiche Cup has seen names like theirs.
But this tournament is not just about future pros. It’s primarily a community, a vibe, and that shared desire to give our best on the field while enjoying good times together. Every season, I see players return, rivalries form, teams push their limits… and I think to myself that this is exactly why I created this event. The Lakiche Cup is a bit of a laboratory for amateur Rocket League: a mix of raw passion, the desire to improve, and sometimes, flashes of brilliance that remind us why we love this game.

The Laki Monthly
Launched as a continuation of the Lakiche Cup, the Laki Monthly was a monthly tournament designed to provide an accessible, fast-paced, and challenging competition for players and teams in the amateur Rocket League scene. Its goal was to offer a stable and competitive environment for those looking to improve, regularly face other teams, or simply experience the intensity of a well-organized tournament.
Each edition brought together motivated players, teams in training or established, in an efficient format, punctuated by live broadcasts, simplistic formats, and careful monitoring of performances. The organization is based on the same values that define our identity: professionalism, passion, fairness, and ambition.
The Laki Monthly was also intended to be a space for experimentation: for players, it is an opportunity to test new compositions, refine their synergy, or assess their progress. For the scene, it was a recurring event that energizes the community and creates clear reference points throughout the year.
By joining the Laki Monthly, participants enter a mindset of consistency and high standards, where every match matters and performances are valued. This allows players to take part in a short-format tournament in a single evening, enabling them to walk away with a small prize, as well as the recognition that comes with it.
